UCAS Teacher Training

To be selected for interview applicants must have a positive reference (and if relevant a degree prediction).
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate recent experience in a school and be able to analyse this is the personal statement section of the UCAS form.
It is really important to submit an accurate and well presented application.


You must provide a detailed breakdown of your degree (or degree equivalent) qualification, including percentages of total study time for each course.
List all 'A' Level and GCSE qualifications with grades (not just English and Mathematics)


Write a carefully proof-read and detailed personal statement which makes it clear why you want to become a teacher and why you want to teach your particular subject.
State clearly about what relevant experiences you can offer.


Your first reference must be from an academic referee (with a degree prediction if relevant)
If you studied for your degree more than five years ago you should choose someone who knows you in a professional capacity.


Admissions to postgraduate teacher training begins on 21st November.
