At Chiltern Training Group we offer high quality secondary teacher training courses based in the Luton and South Bedfordshire area.

We are one of the longest running SCITTs in the country and offer the widest choice of subjects.

We are based at Challney High School for Boys and Community College in Luton and our course is validated by the University of Bedfordshire.

The course is full time and is completed over the academic year.

On successful completion of the course a Professional Graduate Certification in Education (PGCE) is awarded with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Ofsted Report 2006
During the Academic year 2005/6 Chiltern Training Group underwent a full Ofsted Inspection. The overall assessment was judged 'good'.

The report highlighted many strengths including:-

}   high level of commitment by mentors, professional      tutors and headteachers
}   effective management and quality assurance      procedures
